How long has the Bio-mat been in use?
I was wondering if the Bio-mat can be put inside a mild hyperbaric chamber. We purchased a mild hyperbaric chamber for her several years ago which she uses 3x per week with just a vicso-elastic pad inside. Would she be able to put the Bio-mat right on top of that while being treated?
Can you tell me if this product is safe to lay on for any period of time? I am concerned about the electromagnetics as being harmful. Do you have any documentation? Have you used a Trifield meter on the mat at all?

How long has the Bio-mat been in use?

The Bio-mat has been in use since 1997, NASA had the technology patented since the 1960's and it became public domain in 1997. A similar device that was not easy to use was $500,000 and sold only to institutes. Now we can have this FDA medical device in our homes for the cost of a few months of health insurance. There is a lot of research from Japan and Korea, and is used on the hospital beds. It is still relatively fresh here in the United States, but doctors, hospitals, and alternative care practitioners are all using it.

Generally, unless water is involved, the mat can lay anywhere. Just have the control box outside the chamber if possible, and be sure that no more moisture than an intense sauna would have is going to be present in the chamber.

Can you tell me if this product is safe to lay on for any period of time? I am concerned about the electromagnetics as being harmful. Do you have any documentation? Have you used a Trifield meter on the Bio-mat at all?

Yes, we have seen it tested with three different tri-meters. A tri-meter usually has an electric setting and a magnetic setting. If it is set to electric, there should be no or very little reading. The outlets on the wall, lamps, etc all have very distinct readings, and the Biomat had no reading.

If set to magnetic, which has little established harmful effects in low range, and does not stand for electromagnetic, you will get a reading. A specialist in EMF's Dr. Korn has stated that "0-4.5 in magnetic miligaus is absolutely safe, 4.5-7 is established as safe, yet does have a slight effect on the anatomy, neither harmful nor necessarily beneficial, 7-up should be limited when coming from electrical devices," he tested the Biomat's magnetic reading at 5.5mg and had no electrical reading more than an instant of insignificant signal at the turning on of the mat. Everything that has mass has a magnetic field. Amethyst crystals have a pretty strong magnetic field. The harmful electromagnetic fields that we should all try to limit and avoid in our lives are 60 cycle, AC (alternating current) electromagnetic fields. These fields have been proven harmful, and after Nikolai Tesla discovered them and released them, he soon after begged for them to be revoked due to their detrimental effects on the human body, yet it is what we find in our homes and most every electrical device.

The Biomat is transformed (converted) to a DC (direct Current) in its control box, making it much more suitable and harmonizing for interaction with the human body. It has a very different quality to its energy, and although it will still get a reading on a trimeter, it is not the same as a reading from an AC device, which is harmful and blocks the human body's own electrical sensitivity and conduction, interferes with cellular function and communication, etc.

There are also settings to test what range, such as 0-5mg (miligaus), 0-10, 0-100, etc. If it is set to 0-5 and the reading is 4 or 5, which is very small, their reading will seem off the charts. If the meter is set to 0-100 and the reading is 4-5 it will seem miniscule. Test results have been certified.

All appliances that plug into an electrical source will emit some EMF. The Bio-mat works in a way in which it does not always require active electricity . When the Bio-mat is actively heating up to the designated temperature, it is using electricity, which means the controller will emit EMF. Once the Bio-mat has reached its designated temperature, it stops using electricity, and the EMF emission from the controller will be reduced. EMF emission is reduced from the Bio-mat itself (mat portion). However, the controller will still emit EMF because it is plugged into an electrical source. There are a few innovative layers within the Bio-mat that help to reduce exposure to EMF from it. The Reverse Currency Heating Layer has built in EMF interception. Can I set any temperature on the controller I want?

No. The controller has preset temperatures settings. They are 95f (35c), 104f (40c), 113f (45c), 122f (50c), 131f (55c), 140f (60c), 149f (65c), 158f (70c). You can also select timer settings of 2hr, 4hr, 8hr, 12hr. We do not recommend using the Bio-mat at higher heat settings for extended periods of time due to the risk of skin burns.

My table will be multi purpose....can I leave a mat of circular magnets on the table at the same time...under Bio-mat?

Yes, they can be used in conjunction with the Bio-mat, under the mat on the table may be greatly beneficial.

Are there any contraindications?

It is always recommended to consult with your physician before the use of the Bio-mat. Remember to stay hydrated while using the Bio-mat.

1. The Biomat should not be used by infants and young children. The Bio-mat is not indicated for the elderly. The elderly should consult with a physician prior to use.

23. Unplug the Bio-mat before cleaning it. Use a vacuum to remove the dust on the Bio-mat's surface and use a soft dry fabric to wipe the controller.

Warning:
Use carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over sensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of the Biomat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous. The Biomat is a medical device and should only be used by a competent adult. • Make sure to use the proper voltage for your country. Improper voltage may cause electric shock, fire or damage to the product.

The Biomat is very versatile in its application and settings. It will be completely suitable for your patient even his/her titanium pins and rods. If the patient does have a response, the settings can be adjusted to lower the FIR intensity, creating comfortable levels of use.

From the very beginning implants case is one of the most concern for us. There are many people who use metal kind of implant. We worried about any side effects. But we received a lot of good responses from implanted customers. Mostly implanted people had a lot of pain because of implants. After they used the Bio Mat, the pain reduced a lot.
We were concerned if there was any possibility to increase to high temperature in Metal implant, but we realized that the human body system has good enough temperature control, even though that is not their own body part. U.S F.D.A. Approved Class II Medical Device. It is definitely hard to get in terms of working towards applying and receiving it and then to follow the guidelines of the FDA once received. Yes it makes it more credible. Other devices or especially mats do not have this, they are not willing to go through this process, and this states to people that we are not trying to hide anything, we know it works, we have backup to prove that our device does what it says it does, etc.

The Bio-mat has undergone many studies to find out its effectiveness for healing, these have occurred privately, at hospitals and more. These studies cannot be used due to our FDA status. Yet The FDA has proven that the Bio-mat produces Far Infrared in the way Richway Fuji Bio Inc. has claimed. It has also proven that the Bio-mat produces negative ions in the way that Richway Fuji Bio Inc. claims. The white cotton padding that came with the Bio-mat does go on top of the Biomat to evenly disperse the heat. Each cotton pad includes the Hideo diagram, an energy pattern which incorporates sacred geometry. You will want a mattress pad on top of the bed mattress under the Biomat. Then you can put a sheet on top of the padding and the Biomat. The white cotton padding is washable in cold water, but the Biomat shouldn't get stained because the padding should protect it. Liquids can damage the internal layers of the biomat. You don't want to get the Biomat itself wet, this will void the warranty. You can use our Quantum Energy Pad for additional comfort and protection. The Quantum Energy Pad is comprised of Bio Clay Memory Foam which was designed to allow the Biomat's far infrared rays to pass through it easily, a Tourmaline Layer for added negative ions, and a microfiber layer which does not promote the growth of bacteria and dust mites.

If the biomat has any moisture or perspiration use a dry towell to wipe it off. We also recommend wiping the clear window of the biomat once a month with a damp, clean cloth to maintain good condition. The biomat cannot be submerged in water. If you do need to clean your biomat due to something more than just water, such as juice or pet accident, we recommend mixing a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water. Make sure the biomat is unplugged. Submerge a clean cloth into the solution and wring it out so it is not soaking wet. Dab the top surface of the biomat and repeat this process. If possible, leave the biomat in the sun to dry. Also, if possible, while it is drying in the sun plug it in and turn on the highest temperature setting.

Biomat & Bio-Belt troubleshooting: Please check for good cord connections and functional power sources. Red alarm light blinking/ beeping: please ensure that the connection is correct, or it could indicate a mat issue. Please try to use the mat by sitting, laying, rolling, or pressing your palms all over on top of the mat, then see if the controller responds. Temperature & Heat: all Biomats and Bio-Belts are designed to be weight and pressure sensitive, so they will respond by generating heat differently. When an object is placed on top of a Biomat, areas where the object contacts on the mat might form close heat circulation. As a result it might heat up quicker and feel warmer between the object and the mat. Exposing or covering the mat unevenly will have uneven heating areas across the mat.

If you plan to use oils with the Bio-mat, we recommend purchasing a waterproof cover. We offer waterproof covers for all of the Bio-mats. Oils which seep onto the Bio-mat may damage and wear the internal components of the product. The waterproof cover assists in protecting your Bio-mat from liquid damage. The waterproof cover is 100% polyester with an added proprietary coating. This specialized coating is resistant to water. While it is thinner than our previous model of waterproof cover, this version is much more durable and denser thanks to this proprietary special coating. The waterproof cover repels water while remaining permeable to particles smaller than water. This means that while the waterproof cover is composed of a "synthetic" material, it is designed to allow infrared rays and negative ions from the Bio-mat to easily pass through it.

Can I use the Bio-mat on a memory foam mattress/topper?

The Bio-mat contains a thermal protection layer near the bottom of it to aid in keeping heat from travelling downward, but some heat may still travel down toward the surface it is laying on. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of the mattress/topper to confirm if heat may damage its components. If so, do not use the Bio-mat on such a surface.

What is the difference between an infrared sauna and the bio-mat?

Infrared saunas are room saunas where you step completely into the sauna like a small room. They take up a specific amount of space. They only use far infrared light rays, and your head gets hot. The bio-mat is portable and goes on a bed, couch, massage table, depends on which size you have, but they take up a lot less space. The bio-mat also has the added benefits of Amethyst crystal therapy and Negative Ions. The Amethyst Tourmaline Pillow keeps your head cool while your body gets hot so you can also use it for longer periods of time than a sauna. The Bio-mat uses a combination of fabrics and amethyst stones to generate far infrared rays which are then transferred to the body as heat. What is the effectiveness difference between the amethyst and jade bio mats?

Through our 20 years of extensive research, we have found that amethyst produces the optimal amount of natural infrared rays over jade. At first Jade was the obvious choice for the Koreans, it has been used for thousands of years as a healing stone. Then they decided to do actual tests and studies with hundreds of different stones, crystals, glasses, plastics...to see if any made significant differences in the human bio-compatibility of the infrared. They discovered that Amethyst made a huge difference and the body used the light 200% more effectively and combined with 10hz infrared, the healing response and testimonials was unheard of. So they did test batches, some with and some without, the Amethyst ones had huge numbers of responses, and the non-amethyst ones had some cases, but not nearly as frequent. Biomat amethyst comes from China, Brazil and India. The Biomat also contains a layer within it called the TOCA layer. The TOCA layer is a tourmaline layer, and in conjunction with the peach and grape seeds layer, allows the Biomat to produce an abundance of negative ions.

What is the difference between the Mini and the larger size bio mats?

All biomats have within them a layer called Tourmaline Catchpower (TOCA). This is an internal layer. The Mini also has visible alternating rows of Amethyst and black Tourmaline gemstones to match its output of Negative Ions with the larger mats. Some competitors use tourmaline ceramic beads in their mats. This is a cheaper and less effective alternative to the black tourmaline and black tourmaline fabric used in the Bio-mat.

What about all the imitation heating pads?

Not all infrared, gemstone mats are the same. Richway Fuji Bio created and has been evolving the Bio-mat for over 20 years. Through research, development and feedback from health professionals, we designed a wellness tool used by tens of thousands worldwide and contains unique layers to provide additional health benefits to the user. The Bio-mat continues to be the leader in far infrared and negative ion therapy. The Biomat contains the Peach and Grape Seed Layer and provides organic energy, natural far infrared, and a class-leading amount of negative ions. The TOCA Layer is a tourmaline layer within the mat which provides negative ions as well, and the surface layer of the Biomat utilizes 100% cotton fabric (not including the urethane window which shows the gemstones). The state of the art IC chip within the Biomat's controller controls the programming of the Biomat. These innovate technologies set the Biomat apart from the imitations. Can the Biomat be used on 110 or 220 volts?

If you wish to purchase more than one mat?

All Biomats are sold at the same price for everyone. If you want to buy several then a discount could be setup, but that would be for 20 or more. The only discount available on the Biomats is for the Professional and that is $100 if you work in a health related field such as a massage therapist or chiropractor. Sorry, but there is no wholesale pricing available to the public or distributors. Everyone pays the same price. The company set it up this way so no one is undercutting anyone else.

What is the cost of the beds when you become a distributor verses a retail price without being a distributor?

The prices are the same for everyone. There is no discount for distributors. The company doesn't sell directly to the public, all sales go through distributors. Distributors receive a commission.

Can I order just the Professional without the Pillow?

Yes, just go to the order page and select it. The Pro Only is listed under the Pro package.

What if someone is selling for less than you? Can you match it?

All distributors sell products for the same retail price and not less, and cannot offer free shipping, this is Richway & Fuji Bio Inc. International policy. When Richway & Fuji Bio Inc. International began selling Biomats people were selling the Biomats at different prices, people were undercutting each other and creating issues and anger between sellers. The Biomat is an incredible healing product created with healing intent, good kharma and positive energy. So the distributor program and binary system was setup, and everyone sells the Biomat for the same price so no-one is undercutting anybody and this keeps everybody equal and happy, doesn't create a bad vibe or friction between distributors. This product wasn't created to be a corporate product for mass marketing, it was created as a wonderful alternative health product. If someone is selling a Biomat for less then it may be used, and may be out of warranty. If a distributor is selling a new Bio-mat for less than the retail price then the purchaser will lose all rights to warranty, and cannot become a distributor. The distributor may lose their distributorship. This is company policy, it is not law, but company policy.

I have 220v electricity, can I order a 220v version?

Yes, you can order a 220v version. See our Shipping Information page for details. It may take up to 7-40 days, but sometimes you may receive it in about a week. There is no extra cost for a 220v version. If you would like to order a 220v version, go to the International page to find your country, you can also order for US shipping on the order page, email us immediately after you order so we can change it to 220/40v. The Biomat and its' controller are wired specifically for their designated voltage. Interchanging the two types of controllers may cause damage or injury.

Do you ship internationally?

Distributor Terms

The Biomats are sold through distributors only, not directly to the public. When a distributor makes a sale they earn a commission. So instead of offering wholesale pricing you earn commissions and this way everybody pays the same, but as a distributor you earn commissions and the % rate goes up with more sales. So the prices you see on the website are the prices everyone pays whether you are a distributor or a customer. Check our Be A Distributor page on our site for more details.

To become a Distributor of Richway Fuji Bio Inc. International, Inc., a person (or legal entity) needs to fill out the ISA (Independent Sales Agreement). If you have yet to make your initial purchase, fill out the ISA (Independent Sales Agreement) so you can start earning referral income right away. Richway Fuji Bio Inc. Returns for Refund

Refunds - A return merchandise authorization (RMA) number must be obtained by contacting our office (808-589-2800) or emailing (customerservice@Richwayusa.com) us before any returns for refunds or repairs are made. Be sure to have your invoice (RI) number on hand when contacting our office.

What do I do if the bio-mat or the controller stops working and needs repair?

When the alarm light or 158'F light flashes on the controller, this may indicate that the connection going into the Bio-mat is not pushed in all the way or secure. Disconnect the Bio-mat from the power source, and from the controller to the bio-mat. Reconnect the connector into the Bio-mat from the controller, make sure the connection is flush, there shouldn't be any gap where the two plastic caps meet. It may be difficult to push in. Reconnect the power, a power strip is recommended, and test the mat. If you are still experiencing issues, please call your sponsor or customer service at 1-855-338-6410.

Repair service is available for each product's serviceable life. If we determine that a product is not repairable due to unavailability of functional parts or the serviceable life of the product has expired, we will not be able to service your product. The repair service does not cover any product which is damaged or malfunctioning due to causes beyond our control including, but not limited to, repairs necessitated by operator or owner negligence such as the failure to maintain the product according to the owner's manual instructions, improper installation, accidental damage, damage from abuse, misuse, mold, mildew, bodily fluids and other liquid contact, rust or corrosion, and acts of nature.

To obtain service under this warranty, you must call prior to submitting your product to obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Returns must be received by our office within 30 days from the date the RMA was given. This number is required and must be placed in a visible area on the front of the package.
When inquiring about a repair, please provide a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing and provide your RI NUMBER for your purchase. The RI number is the Richway Fuji Bio Inc. invoice number for your purchase which is obtained at the time you place the order. The following information provides some details of our repair service.

1. Up to 2 months from the date of delivery, Richway Fuji Bio Inc. will pick up the product, repair it and send it back to the customer at no charge.
2. 3 months to 12 months from the date of delivery, the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to Richway, Richway will repair it and send it back to the customer at no charge.
3. Lifetime Replacement Program:
4. 13 months to 24 months from the date of delivery, service charge is 10% of the retail price, the product does not need to be shipped to Richway, a brand new product will be shipped by Richway (shipping fee paid by customer).
5. 25 months to 36 months from the date of delivery, service charge is 20% of the retail price, the product does not need to be shipped to Richway, a brand new product will be shipped by Richway (shipping fee paid by customer).
6. After 3 years from the date of delivery, service charge is 30% of the retail price, the product does not need to be shipped to Richway, a brand new product will be shipped by Richway (shipping fee paid by customer).
7. Only the original buyer of the product can call to get the warranty service.

1. Pack items securely. Do not send the Biomat in the suitcase/carry bag. If stones are leaking from the Biomat for any reason, tape the delivery box well at all openings to prevent stones from leaking out of the package while in transit.
2. IMPORTANT: Write the RMA number on the outside of the package along with return name, address and phone number. Richway will not be responsible for packages that are shipped without an RMA number written outside of the package. These packages may be refused and returned to sender.
3. The package(s) must have a tracking number. UPS or FedEx shipments can be tracked. If sending via the US Postal Service (USPS) requesting delivery confirmation will enable tracking of your item. If sending via USPS, you may insure your item at your discretion, but the insurance receipt cannot be used for tracking. The shipment is considered the customer's property and responsibility until it is received by Richway. The customer is responsible for monitoring and ensuring their shipment is received by Richway. Please keep your tracking number on record to monitor your shipment.

3 Year Limited Warranty (Effective for purchases made from September 1, 2015)
Richway Fuji Bio Inc. warrants the covered product to be free from defects and malfunctions at the time sold. "Defects" as used in this warranty, are defined as imperfections which impair or impede the function and use of the product. This warranty lasts 3 years from the date of delivery. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership.

What this warranty covers:

1. Biomat / Biobelt / Amethyst Pillow: This warranty covers any defects or malfunctions in the electronic components, heating element, top cover replacement, pillow (stone) wrap replacement. Customers that have their Biomat replaced by the Lifetime Care Program will only have the mat replaced, and will not receive a new cotton pad, controller, or carry case.
2. Quantum Energy Pad / Quantum Energy Comforter: This warranty covers any defects or malfunctions in the microfiber cover, internal cushion, comforter, and pillow case.
3. Alkal-Life: This warranty covers any defects or malfunctions in the main unit and accompanying parts.

What this warranty does not cover:
This warranty does not cover abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, ordinary wear, fading, failure to follow instructions and improper maintenance. Richway Fuji Bio shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages as a direct result of negligence or misuse. This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged, and/or resealed products by surplus or bulk re-sellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and terminate as to any products of parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without the prior express and written consent of Richway Fuji Bio Inc.

To obtain service under this warranty, contact Customer Service at 1-808-589-2800 / Toll-Free 1-855-338-6410 or RMA@RichwayUSA.com and provide the purchaser's name, Richway Invoice (RI) number, and a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. They will provide you with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. This number is required and must be placed in a visible area on the front of the package. Ship your product postage paid, include a copy of the original sales slip, credit card receipt or other proof of the date of the original retail purchase. If servicing within the first two (2) months, we will send you a prepaid shipping label to cover your shipping costs. If servicing from the third month and on, the customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the product for repair or replacement. We will cover the shipping costs to return the product back to the customer.

Consumer goods and cracking clear heat-dense polyurethane windows on Biomat Products with crystals leaking: Our products are personal consumer goods which are just like toothbrushes, clothes, mobile devices or computer components, so a wear-and-tear overtime is expected (same as other typical personal items). Product service lives may vary, depending on use and environments. NOTE: If a product is "defective/ faulty", it refers to a new product that does not operate or perform as it was advertised its original purpose from the beginning. Otherwise, it would be a "used" or "worn" product. Any material under repeated heat (especially high heat) on a regular basis will deteriorate, wear out and age in a quicker speed.
